Elsa Nowlan

Elsa was born and raised in England, where she first developed a love for art. After moving to Canada, she discovered the rugged beauty of Georgian Bay and the Canadian Shield — landscapes that continue to inspire her work today.

She works in oil, acrylic, and watercolour, though her Georgian Bay pieces are most often created in oil or acrylic. Her paintings reflect the textures, colours, and moods of the natural world, from windswept pines and rocky shorelines to the quiet beauty of new places she explores. For her, painting is a way to connect with the world around her, to explore, and to capture the spirit of the places that have become so close to her heart.
